Mas Sorrer approached us with an exciting challenge - to build a brand-new website from the ground up. Our objective was to bring to life a recently crafted communication strategy by Codea, one that portrayed Mas Sorrer as a truly unique destination where every individual could find precisely what they needed for a perfect weekend getaway. The website was tasked with embodying the core essence of the campaign slogan, "eat, drink, and let your imagination run wild." This meant that our new platform had to seamlessly encapsulate the realms of exceptional dining, the finest beverages, and the limitless possibilities that one could envision.
The project aimed to create a comprehensive and visually captivating website for Mas Sorrer, aligning with their recent communication strategy, and was to be executed entirely on the Webflow platform, in collaboration with a dedicated UX designer utilizing Figma.
Before embarking on this project, Mas Sorrer faced significant challenges with their existing website. The information architecture was convoluted, making it difficult for visitors to navigate effectively. Additionally, the web design lacked adherence to fundamental principles such as grid structure, color schemes, and typography guidelines. With the complexity of having four distinct restaurants and various event spaces dedicated to concerts, yoga and monologues, the prospect of creating a simple, user-friendly website seemed daunting. Furthermore, Mas Sorrer sought advanced functionalities, including a programmable calendar with a filtering system and a streamlined ticket purchasing funnel.
My efforts resulted in a user-friendly website that not only met the complex needs of Mas Sorrer but also exceeded client expectations, driving increased user engagement, event attendance, and online reservations.
